Facility in Harrisburg, PA seeking Rheumatology locums coverage Rates: $275/hr Opportunity Highlights Consistent Schedule: Work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Independent Practice: You will work solo and be responsible for managing your own patient panel. Diverse Caseload: Your typical day will involve seeing an average of 12-16 adult patients (100% adult patient mix) with a wide variety of rheumatological conditions. EMR System: The facility uses Epic for charting. Quick Privileging: The estimated time to secure full privileges is 60 days. Responsibilities Manage a patient panel and assist with the care of other current patients of the practice. Conduct in-person and virtual patient visits. New patient appointments are 40 minutes, and follow-up appointments are 20 minutes. Handle in-basket management, including reviewing and signing therapy plans/infusion orders. Perform laboratory surveillance and medication refills for current patients. Procedures: Perform joint injections. Provider Requirements Education: MD or DO. Board Status: Board Certified. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience. Licensure: An active Pennsylvania State License is required to apply. Certifications: BLS, DEA, and CSR licenses are required. Commitment: We are seeking a full-time provider but would consider two candidates who can each consistently cover two weeks per month on a regular, ongoing schedule. Typical Cases Seen Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis Lupus, Scleroderma, Sjogren's Syndrome Gout and Crystal Arthropathies Osteoporosis/bone health Vasculitis, Inflammatory Myopathies GCA-Giant Cell Arteritis, TA-Temporal Arteritis, PMR-Polymyalgia Sarcoidosis, Reactive Arthritis, Reynaud's Phenomenon Positive ANA with other symptoms, Arthralgia Start Date We are looking for a provider to start as soon as possible, with an estimated start date of November 3, 2025.
