Rheumatology Locums Opportunity – Washington

Job description

We’re seeking a Board-Certified Rheumatologist for an outpatient locums assignment in Washington State. This role offers a unique two-weeks-on/two-weeks-off schedule, a supportive clinical environment, and the chance to join a strong care team with Epic EMR.

Position Highlights

Balanced Schedule: Alternating 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off in a Monday–Friday clinic (7:15a–4p).

Outpatient Focus: Average 18 patients/day with no inpatient or call responsibilities.

Collaborative Environment: Work in tandem with another locum provider in a Level 2 facility using Epic EMR.

Position Details

Start Date: November 3, 2025

End Date: December 31, 2026

Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only

Schedule: Clinic M–F, 7:15a–4p (alternating 2 weeks on/2 weeks off)

Setting: Outpatient

Department: 17 beds, Level 2 trauma facility

Procedures: Diagnostic/therapeutic taps, arthrocentesis, joint/soft tissue injections

EMR: Epic

Requirements

Board Certification: Required (Rheumatology)

Licensure: Active WA license or IMLC

Certifications: BLS

Credentialing: ~90 days
