Locum Tenens Urologist Needed - Holiday Coverage

Job description

We’re currently seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist to provide locum coverage at a community hospital in beautiful Arizona. This assignment offers a mix of clinic, OR, and night beeper call coverage. Full coverage for both the November and December blocks is ideal.

📅 Schedule:

November 24–30

December 22–28

Mix of weekday clinic hours (8a–5p) with night beeper call (5p–8a)

24-hour call coverage on select days (see full schedule above)

🏥 Practice Setting:

99-bed hospital

No robotics

EMR: Cerner

Support staff: 1 PA + MA team

No other on-site urologists

🧑‍⚕️ Patient Load & Procedures:

~20 patients/day in clinic

10–15 procedures/week

3–4 surgeries/day in OR

Optional: Vasectomy & infant circumcision (outpatient clinic)


Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology

Active AZ license or IMLC

DEA required

Minimum 1 year of experience

Must complete credentialing (30 days)
