Urology Locum Tenens Opportunity – Arizona | Holiday Coverage + Flexible Scheduling

Location: Arizona (Hospital-based)
Coverage Type: Clinic + Beeper Call
Credentialing Timeframe: ~30 days

We’re seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist for locum coverage at a hospital in Arizona. This assignment covers two key holiday stretches (Thanksgiving and Christmas) with potential for recurring monthly blocks. The role includes clinic, call, and OR time, with support from a dedicated PA and assigned MAs.

Schedule Overview:

November 24–30 and December 22–28

Mix of clinic (8a–5p w/ 1 hr lunch), night beeper call (5p–8a), and 24-hour call days

EMR: Cerner

Work Details:

20 patients per day in clinic

10–15 procedures per week

3–4 surgeries/day in OR

No robotics; infant circumcision and vasectomy experience preferred but not required

Support: 1 PA, assigned MAs, no other MDs onsite

Requirements:

BC/BE in Urology

Active AZ license or IMLC eligible

DEA required

Minimum 1 year of experience
