ASSIGNMENT DETAILS: JO# 2875237
• Location: St. Louis suburb – Illinois
• Start date: June
• Length of commitment: 3-6 months with the option to extend
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call
• Shifts: May 3-11and July 4-12 August forward 7on7off
• Schedule: Daily inpatient 8-5, night call 5p-7a via phone
• Patient Volume: Daily inpatient 8-5, night call 5p-7a via phone
• Support Staff: APP
• Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: Full time 7 on 7 off- can look at consistent PT but minimum of 7 days/month
• Patients per day: 14 but can vary
• Patient Population/Age: Adult
• Department Description: Will be covering 2 locations that are 12 minutes from each other. The volumes are based on total census between both facilities. Inpatient
• EMR: EPIC/Provation for GI Procedure documentation
• Required Procedures: Esophageal Dilatation, Small Bowel Biopsy, Lower GI Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy, Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube
• Required Types of Upper GI Endoscopy: Biopsy, Foreign Body Removal, Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery), Banding of Varices, ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), Diagnostic, Therapeutic, PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)
• Required: Board Certified, Active IL License or IMLC, DEA, ACLS, BLS, 1 year experience
